The Nunes FISA/FBI Memo Explained

The House Intelligence Committee’s (GOP majority) Memo on the FISA warrant / Trump / ”Russia” issues was released Friday around noon. The Democrats quickly released a “rebuttal” memo. The mainstream news was predictable in their response and coverage.

Herein I attempt to explain what all of this means for preppers, for Americans, for freedom, and for the future of the USA. It’s murky. It’s likely a dangerous path. And there are probably no right answers at this rather late point. Still, here goes:

I’m still constrained to 15 minutes on YT so, yes, it’s a little rushed at the end. I could easily cover this for 3 – 4 hours. But all the explaining and examining in the world still does nothing to fix the underlying problems.

The popular press had a field day:

Some, like the Washington Examiner, did a fairly good job breaking down the actual information.

Others, like the pathetic Washington Post “editorial” position, ignored reality, stuck to the narrative, and deflected to the deep state.

A few of the more intelligent examinations:

Paul Craig Roberts’s explanation and reaction to press.

Ivan Throne’s plain English take.

And … a second (maybe more detailed) memo concerning corruption at the State Dept. may be coming.

And there is so much more swirling around: the 50,000 misplaced FBI texts and communications – so of which go far beyond mere bias. There’s the Constitutionality of the FISA court itself – though it seems really late to discuss that dead letter.

It all really boils down to this: whether it’s the: FBI, the DOJ, Democrats, Republicans, Congress, the Courts, FISA, the alleged protections of the old Constitutions, the press, the State Department, or any other agency – can we trust “our” government? The answer is a sound if startling “NO.”

In the video I mention several possible legal and extrajudicial solutions. Will these happen? Some will, most will not. Things will remain largely unchanged. And, worse than that, most Americans will remain oblivious to the rapid collapse of the government in DC.

That’s where we come it, where we can actually do something. We cannot hope to change the corruption or salvage a greater semblance of what the Founders envisioned for our nation. We can, however, take care of us, as individuals and families. We can prepare for coming and constant instability. That looks a lot like general prepping. And it’s one of the more important reasons to keep it up.

This issue(s) is developing constantly. Count on us to keep you up to date. You get to work separating yourself from the modern madness and insuring that you can continue to live free and happy.
