There’s a trend in politics the GOP refuses to acknowledge. “Conservative” Presidents appoint “conservatives” Supreme Court justices. Then, in many (most?) recent cases, those justices turn and side with the court’s liberal faction. It has happened again with an immigration case.
Neil Gorsuch, “staunch conservative,” just sided with the liberal majority, 5-4, to hold American immigration law void, as it pertains to aliens convicted of crimes. Said people should be removed from the country. Gorsuch found the law too vague to enforce, void for vagueness. It may be. And it needs to be fixed. One hopes the GOP sees that.
