Google, you may know, offers the “Play” app for sounds and such. This is the same company that runs YouTube (which I and FP love!). Some right-leaning types have complained of late about unfair treatment of their work on YT. Cross a line, lose your channel. There’s a public accomodation question there. The excuse given is that offending material is “unsafe” for the community or something.
Yet, on Play, Google for one reason or another, sees fit to leave in place recruiting material by and for Al-Qaeda. If memory serves, that group was a little more than “unsafe,” especially of one liked airplanes or high-rises. What say the guidelines, Google?
