Another Look at the Popular Benjamin Pioneer AirBow by Crosman

Just over a year ago, at the old FP site, we had a feature about Crosman’s AirBow that proved extremely popular. So, here we go again….

A neat range demo of the AirBow:

Looks like a laser rifle from a sci-fi movie, doesn’t it?

This ingenious weapon operates on compressed air. A full charge will fire eight bolts (arrows) at 450 fps. Not only can one take medium-range shots with confidence, the shooting is extremely quiet. That goes a long way on the hunt or in a SHTF scenario.

It’s silent. It cocks and decocks with ease. It can be used by just about anyone. It’s accurate (and powerful). You can hunt just about anything with one. The arrows are reusable. There are no strings to replace (or sting your forearm). It shoots eight arrows on a single charge. Charging is a bit more complex than, say a compound bow, but it works great.

Speaking of working and regular bows, here’s another video: a comparison of the AirBow vs. a compound vs. a crossbow at 30 and 50 yards. The Airbow is amazingly accurate – 2.5” cluster at 50 yds. Check it out:

The performance is very impressive versus the conventional alternatives. Consider strongly an AirBow for powerful and silent shooting – at the range, on the hunt, or around the perimeter.

Tune in this time next year for the next great AirBow chapter.
