Border security was one of the key issues that elected Donald Trump. “Build the wall!” Border security is essential for maintaining some kind of national sovereignty. Likewise, perimeter security is critical for keeping safe the homestead or the bug out retreat.
Southern Prepper 1 posted an informative video about just that: the perimeter between you and whoever. Check it out now:
Build The Fence!

Good fences make good neighbors. They also make for excellent primary perimeter security.
In addition to sturdy posts and ties, consider adding angled barbed wire or razor wire to your fence top.
Intruders scale fences sometimes. So, have a backup in place. Consider segments of collapsible security wire on the ground beyond the primary fence.
Any fence is only as strong as the gate. Pay close attention.Make sure your gate is protected.
You may not be able to completely fence the world out. However, you can certainly try.
A good perimeter security system goes a long way toward deterring most invaders and criminals. For those a little more industrious, it makes their work a little harder.
You can’t control the nation’s border. You can control your own property. Build the fence!
