In the news:

North Korea

The very good news is that we made it through a week without a nuclear war breaking out. Tensions with North Korea fizzled a bit after the weekend’s less than impressive missile test failure.

Vice President Mike Pence visited the South and issued some stern warnings to Kim-Jong Un:

“We will defeat any attack and meet any use of conventional or nuclear weapons with an overwhelming and effective American response,” the Vice President said, “All options are on the table. History will attest the soldier does not bear the sword in vain.”

Let’s hope that cool heads are among the options.

Syria

On the Syrian front, evidence mounts (almost conclusively) that the alleged chemical attack by Assad did not happen. Dr. Theodore A. Postol, professor at MIT, issued a blistering report on the impossibility of the attack, as stated officially:

“No competent intelligence professional would have made so many false claims that are totally inconsistent with the evidence. No competent intelligence professional would have accepted the findings in the WHR analysis after reviewing the data presented herein. No competent intelligence professionals would have evaluated the crater that was tampered with in terms described in the WHR.

Although it is impossible to know from a technical assessment to determine the reasons for such an egregiously amateurish report, it cannot be ruled out that the WHR was fabricated to conceal critical information from the Congress and the public.”

ISIS

The ISIS war on the west continued, nearly unhindered. California suffered another round of “Allahu Akbar”, as did Paris. As usual the suspects were well known to police. That’s the crazy thing: everyone knows what’s going on. Nothing is done, because … diversity???

French Election

The French are set to vote for a new President this weekend. Marine Le Pen offers the only cogent chance to defeat Islamism and restore the nation. Is that what the people want?

And, The Rest

Sometimes it does not matter what people want. Viewers absolutely loved Bill O’Reilly, formerly of Fox News. Despite being the most popular man in the news for 20 years, Fox abruptly terminated their star amid allegations of sexual misconduct. No matter how big you are or how popular, you’re never immune from the whims of the PC police. Even at Fox.

Sunday was Easter, a time for Christians to rejoice. Yet, Sunday, the celebration was marred by another murder spree by another Muslim. This one seemed to stem from personal problems rather than ideology. One man is dead. The suspect had the decency to rid us of his presence.

Aaron Hernandez, fallen N.E. Patriots superstar, did the same in a Massachusetts prison this week.

Finally, we are but a week away from the annual NRA super-show, this year in Atlanta. I know some of you will be there. Have a great time and send us some pictures!

Have a great weekend!
