Your bug out bag supplies need to keep you warm and dry, well hydrated, well fed and keep you from getting lost. Regardless of who you take your advice from, ensure that your bug out bag meets those four criteria.

    If you want a good laugh, type in “hand warmers” in the search box at the sportsmanswarehouse.com website. Instead of showing hand warmers, they show jackets. I laughed.

    Also, instead of hand wipes, I carry hand sanitizer. I use Avagard D, that is commonly used in hospitals.

    I’d suggest also toothpaste, toothbrush, listerine. Also in First Aid some quickclot in small packages for smaller wounds, quickclot in larger packages for larger wounds.

    Pea-less whistle, won’t freeze and they’re much louder. Fox 40 makes an excellent rescue whistle.
