My video feature today mentions another facet of the war on Americans and their freedoms. Gun control is at the heart of that. Of course, many Democrats are bent hard on gun control. Yet, many Republicans (Paul Ryan!) and even the NRA seem ready to help them – with the, you know, “common sense” reforms. Please.

We have a few allies in this war and battle. Gun Owners of America (GOA) fights for the Second Amendment with no holds barred.

Erich Pratt listed ten reasons why Americans should oppose any ban on bump stocks. Please read this carefully, regardless of whether you have or use these devices.

The Bill to ban bump stocks (S. 1916) is already in place. It may advance with bipartisan support. There’s a reason and a tragedy behind this.

“You never want a serious crisis go to waste,” said Barack Obama’s former Chief of Staff, Rahm Emmanuel. And that has become the clarion call for the anti-gun Left, which is now trying to coerce gun rights supporters into accepting a ban on bump stocks in the wake of the horrific Las Vegas shooting.”

Rahm, the guy who presides over the Chicago war zone…

All one can really trust the pols to do is screw up and destroy things. Here are Pratt’s ten great reasons to oppose the ban:

One. The Second Amendment!!!

Two. This will only lead to more bans.

Three. There’s more to the bump ban than just bump stocks. Beware.

Four. LEO sees no benefits to this kind of control.

Five. Regardless of the scope of the shooting and violence, the problem is the people, not the tools.

Six. Where does the slippery slope of the tools lead us? Banning all guns? Cars? Knives? Preppers?

Seven. Completely getting rid of bump stocks will not stop bump firing. I’ve said this twice in three weeks – a rubber band and a steady hand will do just fine.

Eight. Gun bans never work in any country except for the power of dictators. Hitler loved gun control.

Nine. We’ve been pushing forward with gun rights. Why go backwards? BTW, the cowardly GOP is allegedly yanking national CCW reciprocity.

Ten. Consult with the original and Mr. Pratt for this last point!
