You Have To See This! Oak Tree Vs. 30 Pounds Of Tannerite
Tannerite. Exploding targets. Maybe you’ve seen the stuff at gun shows. Perhaps you’ve used it in the field. I’ve blasted away at Tannerite targets and it’s a load of fun.
As a matter of fact, the last time I was at the (private) range, I shot Tannerite. A half pound or so creates a bang like a cannon going off. And it hits you in the chest. It’s a physical experience.
But, what happens when you use say … 30 pounds at once?
The Amazing Pal site found out. They examined what happens when 30 pounds of Tannerite meet an oak tree. This video must be seen to be believed.

First, a proper tree is located and notched with a chainsaw.
Next an insane amount of Tannerite is packed around the base of the tree. You can imagine what comes next…
Maybe they should remarket it as “Tree-B-Gone”. Because that oak is out of here. Timber!
If you try to replicate this, please do so from a loooooong and safe distance. That was a big blast.
Otherwise, Tannerite is extremely safe. A binary agent, both components must be mixed before it is reactable. And, then, you need extreme pressure to detonate it – like a .30-06 round or a blasting cap.
You might want to hide this activity from any tree huggers you know.
