Many people enjoy shooting on public lands. Those lands belong to all of us and it’s important and nice that we use them. However, some areas are now fenced off and unavailable.
The Yankee Shooter posted a very reasonable YouTube video on the subject. It is his theory that irresponsible shooters themselves are the problem. Have a look-see:
Be Responsible Not Trashy
Video by TheYankeeMarshal / YouTube.
Yankee points out, rightly, that many shooters trash the lands. Most do not. However it only takes a few before everyone pays the price.
He shot some video of the problem. What a mess.
He went out in the cold rain with friends and did his part to remediate the junk. This wouldn’t be necessary of everyone would just pick up after they shoot or go out.
This short video is a warning and an inspiration. If shooters expect to keep using public lands for practice and hunting, then they need to clean it up.
Just remember if you trash the land, you’re trashing all our activities and the Second Amendment. The loony leftist don’t need the help there. Keep it clean!
