They say no good deed goes unpunished. That’s seems especially true in modern American. And it is really, really true if one counts on “social justice” factors. Even our police are not immune.

Jennifer Cruz wrote a short piece at Guns.com about just that kind of bad luck. Her story examines the travails of one kind cop who took a thumping just for being overly nice. Read on.

Good Cop, Hurt Cop

A female Chicago police officer is recovering from injuries she sustained in a scuffle with a suspect. A man crashed his vehicle into a building. When the police approached to ask “why” he acted strangely and then became combative. He was under the influence of PCP.

During the struggle to detain the man, the female officer feared for her safety. Still, she refused to open fire or escalate force as she feared backlash from pro-criminal SJWs.

During the attack, the suspect repeatedly smashed a female officer’s head into the pavement with such force that she was knocked unconscious, but according to Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson, the fear of what her family would likely face overpowered the fear of her losing her life. For this reason, she chose to keep her service weapon holstered.”

As I was at the hospital last night, visiting with her, she looked at me and said she thought she was gonna die, and she knew that she should shoot this guy, but she chose not to because she didn’t want her family or the department to go through the scrutiny the next day on national news.

After a taser and pepper spray failed to subdue the suspect it took three men to wrestle him down.

“If you participate in a deadly force situation you can save your life. But in 2016, you can lose your job.”

Sadly, this is true. It’s not a matter of police brutality. Or, it was not in this case. Sometimes force, even lethal force, has to be used to end a criminal encounter. However, liberals are making the aftermath of such events unbearable. Even the criminal, terrorist scumbag who stabbed people at The Ohio State University has been memorialized as a “victim” of police violence.

The Chicago suspect can thank political correctness that he is still alive. He won’t He will, however, have to face charges.

The police do get it wrong sometimes. So do the criminals. Still, things work out better if liberal busybodies mind their own communist business.

Police work is difficult under good circumstances. It is extremely difficult when facing both combative criminals and their BLM terrorist sympathizers. This officer learned the hard way, that there really is no good way to handle these situations. This must change.
