Prepare Today For Economic Collapse Tomorrow
In today’s outside video adventure, City Prepping tells us How to Survive an Economic Collapse. As this is a near-certainty in 2021 America, this one is worth paying careful attention to. Before we watch, here’s a quick summary and a few thoughts.
Economic Collapse Presages Societal Collapse
(Pics captured from CP video).
Any economic turmoil, from a personal job loss to a mild recession, can be bad. But, when everything falls apart … everything falls apart. When people have no money and no means of continuing to live normally, they become desperate. Desperate people do … you know the rest. A full collapse, or even a substantial partial collapse, of the national and/or international economy, will mean (will, not might) violence, crime, hunger, and even war. Now is the time to prepare.
The first step to understanding and surviving a collapse is knowing about it. The general principle is that to solve any problem, one has to know what it is first.
Thus, it pays attention to pay attention to news sources. Be mindful that many or most of these in the Western world are rigged and deceitful. Still, information is out there. And it will tend to sync with one’s own personal experience and knowledge. A plug for our team, here: the Prepper Post News is an excellent source for daily or weekly updates on what’s happening with money and everything else. Please note that we are biased – in favor of civilization. (No apologies).
Also, study history. Economic patterns repeat themselves like all others. In our post-modern (fake) economy, the previous patterns of events for at least the previous 100 years have been driven by the exact same stupid people who control the economy today. They are lazy and lack innovation. Knowing what they did in 2008, 2001, 1931, or 1921 will help predict what they’re doing in 2021. The cycles of expansion, contraction, and collapse are near-universal across all times and regions.
Example: South Africa
In many ways, SA is a great indicator of where America is going.
Even today, on the surface, it is a modern-looking, seemingly normal place. But…
Just below the surface, the entire country and society are fully disintegrating. PC does a great job explaining why and how poverty, distribution disruption, and more factors create instability that leads to certain economic decline.
Once these factors advance far enough, all hell breaks loose.
And the USA is not that far at all away from these kinds of scenes. In fact, if we’re honest, for over a year now, we have seen them play out from Atlanta to New York to Minneapolis to LA. We’re a larger nation with greater resources; yet and still, the strain is already felt. Things will not hold together much longer.
Running through the signs and symptoms of decline, CP covers price increases. By the time a consumer notices these changes at the store, the damage is largely already done. You already know this from your weekly shopping trips, right?
On the other side is deflation. Prices going up and down, for a thousand reasons, are normal – until they’re not. Once the system itself is sufficiently corrupted or destroyed, the swings become wild, unpredictable, and highly dangerous. Either way, the last thing that ever seems to keep pace just happens to be the amount of money you have or earn.
One. Can. Left.
Some say that can’t happen here, but the truth is, it can and it already has. You have seen the weather, riots, pandemic madness, and other crazy events empty out large sections of the grocery stores and other shops. Sometimes it seems to happen overnight. If you need something – really need it – and it’s no longer there, then you’ve just found yourself at the edge of the desperation I mentioned earlier. Pleasant feeling?
Watch and listen to CP’s advice on what you can do to avoid or mitigate these certain changes of uncertainty. There is much one can do – but one must start doing.
It is time to break with dependence. This doesn’t necessarily mean ending convenience while convenience is still an option. It means knowing that the options probably won’t be around tomorrow.
Learn to make do and to do for yourself. In other words, keep on prepping. Food storage and food production come to mind. That, of course, only covers eating. All areas of your life need a reliance plan.
And one thing to count on is that there won’t be any magic help to count on when things get rough. The governments and corporations that so many people expect will help during bad times are the exact same entities that caused the bad times. If you wouldn’t expect a murderer to be concerned about your health, then don’t expect economic assistance from those who bring economies into collapse.
Now, Perrin’s preaching finished,
