What Preppers Need to Know About Venezuela
Not quite 200 years old as an independent country, Venezuela has had many ups and downs. Right now, and the for the past couple of years, they’re down. Way down. About as low as they can sink without total collapse.
We’ve covered this sad spectacle for a while now, in bits and pieces. Here, today, I’ve tried to run it all together, along with a little history and some philosophical exploration. What has happened in Venezuela is a microcosm of just about every scenario preppers are concerned with. Thus, it makes perfect sense to study and learn what we can.
This isn’t the best – though it is the longest – video of mine (maybe I’m being hard on myself). I kept thinking I could go in so many more directions with it. Maybe I will in the future. For now, please watch:

Venezuela: This is Socialism in Action
These are but a few of the more recent stories. I left inflation and monetary collapse out of my video. Look at the prices in that supermarket picture. Their currency used to be somewhat closely linked to the dollar. What were they selling? Used cars?! Horrible.
Please learn from these lessons and maybe do a little research on your own. This could happen in the US or any other Western nation. Sometimes it seems like it is happening. These are reasons why we prep. Please make use of the experience and problems others face. Maybe we can head them off here.
