Is it Safe to Drink Urine?

Okay. This one is a little offbeat even for me. Brace yourselves.

In an emergency survival situation, should you drink your own urine? Many have never thought about it (I hope). A few have. I think Bear Grylls actually did it once. But, should you?

The short answer is, “no”. The Reality Survival YouTubers explain why:

Mercifully this video did not contain “suitable” pictures. Here’s the Reality Survival master:

He explains that drinking your own pee is about the worst thing you can do. And the grossest. It’s like drinking sea water, except it’s your pee. It will usually make things even worse – salt, toxins, etc.

DO NOT DRINK YOUR OWN URINE!

Not unless it’s a choice between that and certain death. And only then if there is a reasonable chance of surviving to an immediate rescue. Also, don’t drink gasoline, acid, or bleach…
