Halloween is coming next week. Whatever your personal stance on the day itself, the event is a good prepper case for SHTF. Think about it: hoards of needy little beggars come to your house demanding food… Well, at least they’re wearing funny costumes.

 

Okay, that’s a tenuous analogy. But there is a food storage angle to work here. Many or most of us store foodstuff for the future. Does that include sweets? Should it?

 

Sugar isn’t a necessity (candy isn’t) but it does make things go a little smoother sometimes. It might be nice to relax with a treat after you fend off the real hoards of doomsday. Hence, maybe you should store a little candy in the retreat or the bug out bag. The following video has some tips:
